If you’re unaware of batching the content, here is the simple definition:

The batching technique is writing everything in one sitting rather than rushing to write new content the same day or during the week when you are already short on time. So, sit down for a day and write all of your social media posts, blog posts, video content, or visuals. The objective is to complete a large number of tasks at once.

Not sure if your startup should devote resources to social media? You know how hard it is to create content every day. It is exhausting, tedious, and even sometimes gets hard to be productive.

Social media is a difficult nut to crack. The regulations, opportunities, audiences, and value propositions differ dramatically from one medium to the next — and might change at any time.

A channel plan — an advanced guideline for how your startup handles content on these shifting platforms — is the only way to overcome those social media worries. It also explains what you may (and cannot) hope to achieve. And that’s the reason why you need to batch create your content.

Why Should You Batch Create?

In short, batch creating your content helps you with:

  1. Being consistent
  2. Posting at the right time
  3. Showing up daily

Plus, when you batch create your content, you can simply have more time for other tasks in your startup.

What Can Other Tasks Be Done?

These points might seem familiar to you, but I’m considering reminding you again.

  1. Creating strategies for your business
  2. Working on your projects
  3. Building processes and systems
  4. Reading books for more knowledge and clarity on things
  5. Executing and managing client works

How To Plan Social Media Content

Hang on, please! Either save this plan or write it down in your calendar/notes/notebook to see it again.

For Monday,

  1. Brainstorm ideas
  2. Pick 7 of them
  3. Create catchy headlines

For Tuesday,

  1. Write the first draft of your posts
  2. Write the second draft and finalize the script

For Wednesday,

  1. Find the cover image for the posts
  2. Research the relevant hashtags

For Thursday,

  1. Design the posts with images and graphics
  2. Put in your script

For Friday

  1. Write the captions
  2. Schedule it for the next week
  3. Voila! You’re all done
